Dr. Denise Emmerling-Baker has been an international small business owner, artist, nurse, educator, professor, national equity and best practices trainer, corporate client English language learner consultant, civic committee and board member and advisor, union leader, policy writer and editor, and public speaker. She has worked in healthcare, education, the service industry, the arts industry, local film industry, and has been an active member of community, budget, grievance, and program improvement commitees. She has volunteered internationally and locally for many non-profit organizations. Her unique experiences and on-going training help her to personalize Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion professional development and support resources for businesses and organizations.
Past clients have included a plethora of school educators, staff and administrators in almost every state, Puerto Rico and Canada, as well as health care providers, school law enforcement officers, county library personnel. She has provided targeted equity and inclusion resources for the restaurant/brewery industry as well as a popular ski resort area.
